Senior Ministries

Our senior ministries at Emmanuel are largely offered throough our  YEAH (Young & Energetic At Heart) group.  This group balances service activities, such as providing parties for area nursing homes for special holidays, putting up flags on Main Street for national holiday weekends, an annual mission trip to serve the homeless in Lansing, MIchigan, as well as entertainment and social opportunities including day trips and other travel opportunities.  Gospel concerts at Fireside Theatre, Ft. Atkinson, WI, musicals at Circa 21 in Rock Island along with mystery trips and an annual multi-trip to places around US have offered great times in the past.

Please sign up with Rich Criss for any of the trips listed below, and please only sign up if you are definitely planning on going. Please do not simply sign up to “save a spot” should you decide to go!

With the exception of the Branson trip, no deposit is requested at the time of sign-up. However, payment in full is due 30 days in advance.

Due to Coronavirus, these trips are subject to change, but at this point are still “on.”

Their name is synonymous with setting the standard for male quartets since their inception in 1980. Many have tried to pattern their style and sound, but there’s only one Gold City. Theirs is a stellar career with numerous number one songs, fan and industry awards, and prestigious honors. Yet this Gadsden, Alabama-based group remains down-to-earth, grounded in their southern roots, and committed to continuing their mission of delivering power-packed four-part harmonies and singing songs that are meaningful, entertaining, inspiring, and uplifting. Daniel Riley, baritone, leads the group into the future. Chris West anchors on bass with Scott Brand at lead vocalist and Thomas Nalley on Tenor. G.W. Southard provides just the right touch accompanying the group on the piano. Each member is talented and dedicated to sharing the Good News of the Gospel through songs with encouraging and challenging lyrics presented in an exciting performance on stage. As they continue to build on their heritage, their future is now and their best is yet to come!
